This part asks whether you can take one study from raw export to deposit without a chapter telling you which tool comes next. It closes the second quarter and assumes every part before it, with Part VI optional. It is about twenty minutes of reading and ten weeks of work.

• 34  Capstone: HF-HOME from Export to Deposit takes the HF-HOME study from a multi-site case-report-form export to a deposited compendium with a tagged analysis plan, executed tests, continuous integration, a one-page memo, and a response to a reviewer. It is graded on the numbered habits of The habits this book teaches rather than on the estimate.

The skip advice of the earlier parts does not apply here. The chapter opens with a ‘Ready to start?’ quiz instead of a ‘Skip ahead?’ quiz: if it is easy, begin the first milestone; if it is not, the quiz answers name the chapters to revisit first. The project is the assessment, and it cannot be skipped.
