Biostatistics Practicum
Reproducible analysis workflows for biostatisticians
Welcome

This is the online version of Biostatistics Practicum by The rgtlab Curriculum Project, a graduate textbook in applied biostatistics practice.
The book covers the practical workflow that surrounds statistical modelling: reproducibility, Git infrastructure, Docker, Quarto reporting, tidyverse data wrangling, and clinical-trial case studies. Jenny Bryan’s STAT 545 (Bryan & Stephens, 2019) at UBC is the pedagogical model for this approach. The companion volume, Statistical Computing in the Age of AI, covers the statistical theory and inference that this book deliberately excludes.
See the Preface for motivation and the Conventions page for visual cues used throughout.
